The touring party will number 40 in total, including players and partners, reinforcing the Spirit of Cricketâs commitment to shared experiences, cultural connection and lifelong memories. In addition The legendary South African batsman Barry Richards has been announced as the tour Ambabssador and will take every step with selected players.

For 17 members of the touring group, the journey continues beyond South Africa, with a once-in-a-lifetime extension into Zimbabwe and Botswana â including visits to Victoria Falls, Chobe National Park, and a Wanderers cricket experience unlike any other.
Spirit of Cricket Global Founder Anthony Telfer said:
âI could not be prouder of the quality of players and people representing the Spirit of Cricket brand in this inaugural Cape Town O55âs International. These two teams reflect everything we stand for â excellence, respect, diversity and the love of the game.
This is a true bucket-list tour for everyone selected. To be taking a touring party of 40, including partners, and then seeing 17 continue on through Zimbabwe, Victoria Falls, Chobe National Park and into a Wanderers cricket experience is incredibly special. This is cricket as it should be â global, inclusive and unforgettable.â
As preparations now intensify, one message rings clear:
Bring on South Africa.
Play hard. Play fair.
And represent the Spirit of Cricket with pride
